blackened deathcore
what it is
Blackened deathcore is an amalgamation of black metal and deathcore, to varying degrees. While it isn't fundamentally very different from traditional deathcore, it tends to employ more treble and delay in the riffs to give it a "blackened" feel, and often uses symphonic black metal-style keys/synth and shrieked vocals heavily. Blackened deathcore bands are often influenced by blackened death metal, traditional black metal and technical death metal artists, along with the expected deathcore/metalcore influences.
